Evolution of English Gothic

£3.50

Greeting card comparing examples of English gothic architecture. Printed in England on a light cream, 300gsm carbon-neutral Italian paper, made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste.

The illustrations show how English church architecture evolved from the Norman style of the 11th century to the specifically English version of Gothic, known as Perpendicular. Adapted from the illustration in A History of Architecture on the Comparative Method for the Student, Craftsman and Amateur, Banister Fletcher (5th Edition, 1905).

All our greeting cards are 170mm x 120mm (approx. 5” x 7”) and blank inside, individually wrapped in a compostable wrapper made from plants, with a 100% recycled, 110gsm kraft envelope.
